WHAT IS BLANKFORCE

BLANKFORCE is a unique concept created in 2006 by passionate Kitesurfer´s. The “NO-NAME-BRAND” boards incorporates the most advanced technology in Europe: selected materials, innovative shapes and higher quality standards. Our main focus is the research and development of boards to provide best quality at an affordable price. This is the prime reason why we do not invest in Marketing & Sales or brand/logo campaigns. BLANKFORCE returns to the essence of kiteboarding, where fun has “NO-NAME”,. BLANKFORCE is a state of mind and marks a new direction: back to the real values of everybody who shares this passion.

Most skaters know what BLANK means. The name comes originally from the first skateboards with a BLANKDECK, meaning less money for the same quality. Everybody knows that good skaters can perform their best tricks with any kind of board. However, should you have another opinion; it would be nice to share it with us and to publish it on this page.

BLANKFORCE HISTORY

It all started in 1999, I was just studying and like other students, my budget was too small to buy any fun sport stuff. Therefore I decided to do an internship with 100%fun in Tarifa (Spain) to look behind the scenes and learn how to build my own kiteboards. My first Hand-made Kiteboard (see Picture) was built using the same technique as a surfboard, with big rails and polystyrene for the core and for the pads I also used an old ISO mattress. Slowly, and with newer technologies and materials, I started to develop and build more and more boards, changing the scoop, then the outlines, with the objective to build the perfect board for myself.

After this experience I got a job with Gunsails v.O. GmbH (Germany) in 2003, and learned how to manage projects, work with factories, and develop products in a professional manner by motivating and sharing my passion with others. Eberhart, the owner of Gunsails is the perfect description of a self made man. With him as my tutor, I got more and more confidence in the vision that in the future I would be able to create my own brand; sharing my passion (and having fun), putting everything into every board I designed and produced, to help you become a better kitesurfer.

I started with Blankforce kiteboards in 2006. I was sharing a Kiteshop with my friend Ralf from Surfers Paradise on Fehmarn (Germany), a small Island in the Baltic sea. As we were selling more and more Blankforce kiteboards, and as customers were very enthusiastic about the boards, I decided to dedicate all my time to Blankforce and manage the distribution internationally.

Today in 2011, after hard work to achieve the perfect board for myself, I´m transferring this knowledge to build the perfect board for you, and I promise that the pads are not made with ISO mattress anymore! As Blankforce and the company grows, thanks to the help of my friends, the support of Partners and Team riders, the focus is to offer not just a kiteboard but the perfect kiteboard for you and this by keeping fighting to guarantee the best value on the market.
