WOOD CORE / NOYAU EN BOIS:

The wood core consists of battens that are assembled and laminated with high pressure to assure the best quality and characteristics. Wood has excellent mechanical properties due to the abundance of natural fibres that are all positioned length side to the board. It allow to build a very light and strong Kiteboard.
Le noyau en bois est issu d’un assemblage laminé à haute densité garantissant une qualité exceptionnelle. Le bois possède des propriétés mécaniques excellentes grâce notamment à la présence des fibres naturelles positionnées le long des bords de la planche. Cette construction combine parfaitement et efficacement légèreté et solidité.

STAINLESS STEEL INSERTS / INSERT EN INOX:

V4A is a norm for Stainless Steel that assures resistance against salt water. The base of the inserts is reinforced and it has a special hexagonal shape. It will that keep the insert fix between the boards layers forever.
Le V4A est la norme actuelle pour l’acier inoxydable garantissant ainsi une résistance optimale face au sel de mer. La base des inserts V4A de forme hexagonale est également renforcée assurant une parfaite fixation avec la planche.

ABS RAILS / RAILS EN ABS:

The ABS is the best thermo-plastic material for the rails. Our ABS is strong and adheres highly to epoxy. It works like a protective shield to the board. All ABS edges are shaped with CNC control to assure a perfect curve.
Nous utilisons les meilleurs matériaux thermo-plastiques pour les rails. Notre ABS est solide et adhère parfaitement à l’epoxy. Il sert de bouclier protecteur au flotteur. Les ABS sont shapés en CNC de manière à obtenir une courbe optimale.

GLOSSY SHIELD / REVÊTEMENT LAQUÉ:

The boards are builds to resist for long time. To protect them from ambient factors like scratches and UV sunrays, we are using ultra light and strong 0,3 mm ABS layers on top and bottom. It fits 100% to epoxy and it is clear like glass. The board will always look like new.
Nos flotteurs sont conçus pour résister le plus longtemps possible. Afin de le protéger parfaitement des facteurs externes comme les frottements, les rayons UV, etc, nous utilisons les couches ABS très fines et résistantes d’une épaisseur de 0,3 mm sur le top et la carène de la planche. Ces couches aussi clean que le verre adhèrent à 100 % à l’epoxy et donnent au flotteur un aspect toujours aussi neuf.

CONCAVE BOTTOM / CARENNE CONCAVE:

The concave bottom shapes have better all-round characteristics. The concave stabilizes the board, it gives a smooth control, allows easy landings and it forgives mistakes. The water flow is canalized through the full length of the board and cleans the chop.
Les carènes en concave possèdent les meilleures caractéristiques all-round. Le concave stabilise la planche, lui apport un contrôle aisé, facilite les réceptions de saut et pardonne les erreurs en navigation. L’écoulement de l’eau est canalisé sur toute la longueur de la planche.

2D ABSORBTION (competition Stiff):

In low wind conditions, the rider has to transmit the maximum power from the kite to the board and water surface. Therefore we use the 2D absorption technology from tip to tip. The Boards have a progressive curve shaped with CNC true the complete wood core from the pads area to the tips, to allow a minimal flex with full force distribution.
Dans les conditions de vent faibles, le rider doit transmettre le maximum de puissance de l’aile à la planche jusqu’à la surface de l’eau. La technologie 2D absorption est utilisée de tip à tip. Les planches ont une courbure progressive. Elles sont entièrement shapées par un noyau de bois CNC des pads aux tips permettant ainsi un flex minimal mais une pleine répartition des forces.

3DX ABSORPTION (competition all terrain):

3DX is a full wood core shape from Tip to Tip combined with thin ABS tearing edge rails along the fins positions. It is especially shaped to give the rider optimal control on choppy water and gusty wind conditions. The tip to tip wood core increases total distribution of energy through the whole shape. It also keeps maintaining a dynamic pop even when the wind goes down between two squalls. The thin ABS tearing edge on the fin position absorbs the irregular pressure due to the choppy water . It gives the same control as in clean water conditions.
Le 3DX est une construction full wood de Tip à Tip associée à des rails très fins et prononcés en ABS le long du positionnement des ailerons. Cette construction a spécifiquement été conçue pour permettre au rider de garder un contrôle optimal et d’absorber les pressions irrégulières en conditions clapoteuses et venteuses. Le noyau en bois de tip à tip répartit ingénieusement l’énergie à travers l’ensemble du shape. Cela permet également de conserver un pop toujours dynamique même dans les déventes et les rafales.

3D ABSORPTION (all terrain progressive flex):

The board is a conductive medium between rider and water surface. The energy goes bidirectional. Riders need stiffness to transmit the whole impulse to the water, but they also need a flexible board to absorb the choppy water surface to get maximum control in all-over conditions. The 3D absorption shape accomplishes perfectly all those requirements. The wood core gives stiffness to the central area and it stops 15 cm before the end of the tips, where the main shocks and vibrations are transmitted. Therefore we are using thinner ABS absorbing plates on the tips and alow a progressive Flex. This optimizes maximum all terrain control.
Le flotteur est l’intermédiaire direct entre le rider et la surface de l’eau. L’énergie se répartit de manière bidirectionnelle. Les riders ont généralement besoin de rigidité pour transmettre leur impulsion dans l’eau mais également de flexibilité pour absorber le clapot et gagner en contrôle maximal en programme all-over. Le 3D ABSORPTION remplit parfaitement ces conditions. Le noyau en bois apporte rigidité à la partie centrale du flotteur et s’arrête 15 cm avant les tips, là où se transmet les chocs et vibrations. Par ailleurs, nous avons utilisé des ABS très fins permettant de bien encaisser tout en offrant un flex progressif.
